The participants of this course will

•   have better understanding of the concepts of environment and sustainability, learn about its place in education,

•   learn about the United Nations 2030 Sustainability Development Agenda, improvement goals and Sustainable Development Education (ESD),

•   learn the importance of environmental and sustainability topics in the curriculum,

•   recognize innovative methodology in education for sustainability,

•   be aware of the impact of daily life habits on the environment and get information about what they can do,

•   learn how to be a responsible consumer,

•   learn about the climate change, waste management,

•   recognize the recycling system in Europe, observe the difference with other regions,

•   be able to design activities and workshops to develop environmental awareness of the students and motivate them to learn about these issues on their own,
